Two drug busts net 333.33 grams of meth
While a major drug dealer was facing a jury trial at the courthouse, high-level officials were holding “Say No to Drugs” signs along Ernguul Street. At the same time, two separate packages of methamphetamine (meth) were being delivered in Koror last week.
Authorities, with the assistance of a K9 unit and in coordination with Customs and Border Patrol, inspected the packages and discovered a total of 333.33 grams of meth. The seizure resulted in two separate drug busts. According to the Minister of Justice, the packages were addressed to DHL and the Post Office.
The cases have been referred to the Office of the Attorney General. The names of those arrested have not been released, as investigations are ongoing.
