(PR) There has been an increase in tuberculosis (TB) cases in our community in recent weeks. TB spreads through the air when a person with active TB coughs or sneezes.
Protect yourself and others by covering your cough, wearing a mask if you’re sick, ensuring good ventilation, and getting tested if you have symptoms like a persistent cough, fatigue, fever, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss, or night sweats.
Early detection and treatment are key—please seek care if you have concerns.
